The Challenge
Eastern Municipal Water District managed a rapidly growing workforce with manual and semi-automated tools for tracking employee training and safety compliance. Training wasn't just a development priority — in many cases it was a regulatory requirement. The existing approach couldn't keep pace with compliance demands or reporting needs as the workforce became increasingly mobile.
What We Built
The Training Depot — an integrated training information management system on a multi-tiered .NET architecture. Supported web-based and mobile access for attendance collection, integrated with the existing Cyborg HR system, and provided self-service capabilities and compliance reporting across the organization.
The Outcome
EMWD gained a centralized, scalable platform for managing training compliance across a mobile and growing workforce — replacing fragmented manual processes with a system built to grow with the organization.
