Who we are

Laminar Consulting Services, Inc. (“Laminar,” “we,” “us”) is a software development and consulting firm based in Orange County, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through laminarco.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email us at contactus@laminarco.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, company, work email, phone number (if you provide it), the topic you select and your message. If you email or call us, or book a meeting through our scheduling link, we receive the information you share in doing so.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It uses cookies to record things like the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the time of each request, which are used to operate and secure the site.

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule conversations you request
• To follow up about our services, which you can opt out of at any time
• To understand how visitors use the site and improve it
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse
• To meet legal obligations

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only for that purpose:

• HubSpot, which stores contact form submissions and runs our meeting scheduler
• Google, which provides Google Analytics
• Vercel, which hosts the website
• Cloudinary and Logo.dev, which serve some images on the site. Your browser requests those images directly, so these providers receive your IP address.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. The site will still work without cookies. Browsers' “Do Not Track” signals have no common standard, and the site does not currently respond to them.

If we email you, you can unsubscribe using the link in the email or by writing to us, and we will stop.

How long we keep it

We keep contact information for as long as we have a business relationship or a reason to follow up, or until you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contactus@laminarco.com and we will respond promptly, usually within a few business days. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what we collect and how we use it, to delete or correct it, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information.

Blueprint interviews

If your organization engages us for a Blueprint assessment, the interviews are covered by our agreement with your organization and by the information given to each participant before the interview begins, not by this website policy.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top of the page.
