Alliance HealthCare Services — one of the nation's largest radiology, oncology, and interventional pain management providers — operated a legacy application collecting patient data from remote MRI imaging vehicles. The technology was aging out of Microsoft support, the security model didn't meet HIPAA standards, and the application needed full modernization without disrupting operations across nearly 47 states.
